As a part of our partnership with William Penn Elementary School, NC4 is providing a Christmas blessing to the children and siblings who receive backpacks each week. This year we are supporting 18 different families with a total of 45 children!
Each child will receive 2 gifts. One gift will help them endure the cold winter ahead, and the other is just for FUN! Please choose a gift(s) and then deliver it WRAPPED and LABELED with the child’s name to NC4. Gifts will be collected on a cart in the lobby on Sundays and in the office during the week. All gifts must be at the church no later than Dec.16th.
**Gift cards must be boxed and wrapped to avoid getting lost in another families bags!
Additionally, please commit to pray that as we attempt to meet the physical needs of these families, God will draw them into His kingdom. Thank you for supporting our community partner, William Penn School!
Since 2012, we have had the opportunity to partner with William Penn Elementary school through the Backpack Buddies Program. This program provides meals and snacks on weekends for students who would otherwise be identified as food deprived. Additionally, the students and their families are supported throughout the year with holiday meals, a summer food pantry and other healthy & fun activities.
