Our Backpack Buddies program needs some extra support! The Backpack Buddies ministry feeds 65 food-insecure kids from the William Penn Elementary school every weekend. During the pandemic, our pantry has struggled to stay filled, and the number of kids who need to be fed also increased. Our goal for this drive is to fully stock the pantry and build our Backpack Buddies team.
For a list of donation items, visit our Backpack Buddies page: nc4.org/project/backpack-buddies
You can drop off the items in the grocery cart in the lobby of NC4 Bethlehem, or the wooden trunk at NC4 Macungie.
If you’re interested in being part of this ministry, and could use an occasional text reminder during the week, or, if you’d like to help Diane, our Backpack Buddies Coordinator, fill the backpacks each week, text BUDDY to 610.816.6062.
Sunday, April 11th
While our April sessions are all taken, we will continue to offer these 15-minute afternoon sessions on the 2nd Sunday of each month. Please check back soon for our May session time slots!

Bright Hope Pregnancy Support Centers, NC4’s partner for life in the Lehigh Valley, is celebrating 40 years of honoring life and offering hope! What better way to reflect on the gift of life and all that God has done through Bright Hope than to go for a purposeful walk? Their annual Walk for Life fundraising event is happening on May 1st. You can participate in person at the Bethlehem Township Community Center or you can partake virtually. Attendance for the in-person walk is capped at 125 people, so you must register in advance.
