Announcements:
- Morning Star Choir (Macungie): is your child in the K-5th grade class? We’re encouraging them to participate in the Morning Star Choir that will perform on Dec 10th and Dec 24th in Macungie. Please have your child listen to the attached recording (at the bottom of this email) several times between now and Dec 10th. Please arrive at 9:15 am on Dec 10 for a sound check and rehearsal. Contact Josephine Young with any questions.
- Sunday School will look a little different on Sunday, December 17 in Macungie. More info to come!

Last week (Oct 29, 2023), we learned that PEOPLE WELCOMED JESUS AS KING by reading Matt 21, Mark 11, Luke 19, or John 12.
- CHRIST CONNECTION: Jesus is the Messiah spoken about by the prophet Zechariah: “Look, your King is coming to you; He is righteous and victorious, humble and riding on a donkey, on a colt, the foal of a donkey” (Zechariah 9:9). One day, Jesus will return to earth on a white horse as King over everything.
This week (Nov 5, 2023), we will learn that LEADERS WANTED TO TRICK JESUS by reading Matthew 22.
- KEY PASSAGE: Deuteronomy 18:15
- BIG PICTURE QUESTION: How is Jesus the perfect prophet? Jesus perfectly reveals God the Father and fulfills what the prophets spoke.
- CHRIST CONNECTION: When the religious leaders questioned Jesus, He answered with wisdom and power. Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God. He is the Word of God, who came to show us exactly what God is like.
