Serve Teams

This team meets with guests after the Sunday service, welcomes them, and seeks to answer questions. If your good at chatting with strangers, like to make new people feel welcome, and know some things about NC4, this is the perfect team for you!

This team prays for people after services and at special events. Training is provided. If you have a heart for prayer, please reach out!

This team is for people who have a special heart for the Backpack Buddies food program and wish to receive extra text and/or email alerts when the food pantry is running low.

This team cleans up the Connect Area coffee setup on Sunday mornings at the Bethlehem campus after the after service greeters have finished greeting guests. If you have a heart to serve and can stick around for a little bit after the Sunday service, this team is for you!

This team preps the Cafe Area with the coffee items before service so it is ready when service begins (cups, napkins, teas, sugars, creamers, etc.) and then cleans up the area after service and cleans all of the coffee urns.

This team sets up communion on the appropriate week each month and for special events. Volunteers also take care of purchasing and prepping the bread and grape juice/wine.

This team focuses on planning and executing events throughout the year that let our congregation and guests connect to each other in new and fun ways. If you enjoy planning fun events, have a gift of hospitality, and are always coming up with a new idea, reach out to us!

This team is responsible for opening and closing the Bethlehem Campus building for services and campus wide events. They also assist the facilities manager, as needed. If you are dependable and willing to show up early and stay around until the end, this is a great team for you!

This team welcomes congregants and guests as they arrive for service on Sunday mornings at our Bethlehem campus. If you have a friendly, helpful nature and a warm smile, this is a great team for you!

This team works together to deliver a warm meal at the Bethlehem Emergency Shelter each Sunday night. If you have a heart for the homeless population or love to serve others, this is a great team for you!

This team serves in the NC4 kitchen for regular and special events. If you like to cook, are willing to learn, or even just enjoy helping out, this team is for you!

This team operates the live streaming of Sunday morning services and other special events. They are trained to operate the camera, livestream slides, and more. If you are tech savvy and like learning new things, this group is for you!

Help when you need it most! Manna meals are for NC4 members & attendees who are in need due to hospitalization/serious illness, childbirth, & bereavement. Manna meals are a community effort to pitch in when other connection points (family, Connect groups, Ministry teams) are not available.

This team works with our kids in Sunday School each week. If you enjoy spending time with children, have a heart for teaching Bible stories and concepts, and don't take yourself too seriously: this is a great team for you!

This team takes photos or video clips during Sunday Services and special events and helps with filming the video announcements, sermon series trailers, and more. If you are creative with an eye for detail and know your way around a camera (or would be willing to learn), this team is for you!

This team hosts a Bible study at Northampton County Prison with male and female inmates. Their goal is to reach the lost and least of the community and bring the message of the hope and life that is in Jesus Christ.

This team operates the sound board and audio equipment during services and special events. If you are tech savvy and like learning new things, this group is for you!

This team focuses on opening the doors as people come in, guiding people to different spaces at the campus, seating families in the sanctuary, and providing a general level of 'helpfulness" at a service. If you enjoy helping others, are attentive to the needs of others, and have a warm smile check out this team!

This team operates the presentation slides and video files during services and special events. If you are tech savvy and like learning new things, this group is for you!

This team embraces dance and physical expressions as a form of worship. They coordinate dance pieces as a public part of worship for special services. If you have a heart for dance or worship movement, this team is a good fit for you!

This team leads the congregation as we worship on Sunday mornings and at special events. If you are a singer or play a musical instrument, this team may be for you. Reach out to the campus worship leader to schedule an audition.

This team helps to coordinate the quarterly week-long Family Promise visits. Guests are homeless families who are provided meals and overnight housing for the week they are staying at NC4 Macungie. You can make a meal, setup, tear down, socialize, and more. Some positions require training and clearances. There are many ways to get involved!

This team takes care of the grounds at NC4 Macungie. This includes mowing the lawn, trimming bushes, raking leaves, and more. Clean-up dates are scheduled about once a month. If you like the outdoors and enjoy helping in this way, please contact the team leader!
