Acapella Song Project Weekdays Evening Connect Group Bethlehem Area NC4 Bethlehem
Acapella Song Project
Leader: Peter James

This group's goal is to learn worship songs.
Particularly, songs whose lyrics are drawn directly from scripture.
This group will value minimalism. For simplicity and focus, no attempt will be made to include instrumental accompaniment.
Likewise, no refreshments are contemplated.
Simply learning, singing, and worshipping will occupy our time, keeping these as the main activity.
No special singing gift is required. Anyone who can carry a tune will be welcome.
There will be printed lyric sheets and we'll share audio recordings (for those whose phones can run Apple Voice Memos).
Most of the songs are short worship choruses, which were in common use during the Charismatic Renewal of the 1970's.
There will be about a half hour for prayer at the end of the evening.

To fill out the group of participants, those who are interested should choose one or two evening time slots they would be able to commit to: Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday evenings from 7:00 - 9:00 pm.
The most ideal day will be selected.

Leader: Peter James
Location: Peter's home. Bethlehem

As the group relationships grow, it is our hope that worship times will include the practice of spiritual gifts for the mutual building up of the participants.

Sorry, this group has no arrangements for childcare.

Christian Writers' Group
Leader: John Moser

Whether you currently write or have nursed the desire to write for years, our group will encourage you to write. Brief teachings on writing, editing, how go get published and other relevant topics are discussed. We will support each other's projects by sharing limited pages of draft works in progress. Our goal is to write. Our long term goal is to disciple and influence the secular world through letter writing, online content, letters to the editor, book reviews and music, articles, poetry, picture books, book-length fiction or non-fiction projects, or memoir.

We are open to interested writers!

Member Responsibilities: On rotation, we each read each other's submissions to provide a constructive, but encouraging critique.

Serious adult and teen writers are welcome.

Meetings are alternate Thursdays at 7pm-9pm. We promise to start and end on time. Since we meet all year long, please contact to learn when we meet next!

Fresh Start Separated & Divorce Support Group Tuesday Evening Connect Group NC4 Bethlehem NC4 Bethlehem
Fresh Start Separated & Divorce Support Group
Leader: Jeanine Greener

This group is on a temporary break for an indefinite period.

This group is for individuals facing separation or divorce. While reconciliation is always the hope, it is not always possible. It can be an overwhelming season of isolation, grief, uncertainty, and shame. Despite the statistics, it still seems to be taboo to talk about.

I wouldn't wish divorce on my worst enemy, but I wouldn't trade a thing for what I have learned through it.

This is designed to be a safe place to share insight and tools to help guide you through this season. You are not alone in this. God is not done with you and this season does not define you, but it will refine you. God may be able to do more in your life through this than He has ever been able to do before. This is just another step in building your testimony.
No workbooks will be required for this group, but a journal of some kind is recommended to take notes.
