Hello all,
I am reaching out to you about our kids being part of worship on 8/27.Here is the YouTube link: https://youtu.be/Of5IcFWiEpghttps://youtu.be/Of5IcFWiEpg Please ask parents to practice the song with their kids at home. On Sunday morning our children will lead us as we join them in worshiping our Lord with this song “King of Kings”. I will also attach the lyrics for parents to have. This is also a great time to worship with kids at home. We desire that all of our kids are part of the corporate worship experience.

- Move Up Sunday–August 27th! Kids move up to their next Sunday School class on this date at both campuses. Kindergarteners and 6th graders will both be receiving Bibles for their new stage of life. And there may just be sundaes too…
- Outdoor Movie night on Aug 18 is decided! See the attachment to see the 1st feature and 2nd feature we’re showing!!
We’re continuing Unit 22 THE MIRACLES OF JESUS and it will take us through August 27th.
Our memory verse for this unit is: “No one has ever seen God. The one and only Son, who is himself God and is at the Father’s side–he has revealed him.” John 1:18 (CSB)

Last week (Aug 6, 2023) completed Unit 22 Session 2 and learned that JESUS HEALED AND FORGAVE by reading Matt 9, Mark 2, and Luke 5.
- KEY PASSAGE: John 1:18 (CSB)
- BIG PICTURE QUESTION: Is Jesus God or a human? As the Son of God, Jesus is both fully God and fully human.
- CHRIST CONNECTION: The man who was paralyzed needed to be healed. Jesus did something even greater; Jesus forgave his sins, and then He healed the man. Because Jesus is God, He has the power and authority to heal and forgive. Jesus forgives everyone who trusts in Him.
This week (Aug 13, 2023) we are doing Unit 22 Session 3 and will learn that JESUS HEALED SICKNESS by reading Matt 9, Mark 5, and Luke 8.
- KEY PASSAGE: John 1:18 (CSB)
- BIG PICTURE QUESTION: Is Jesus God or a human? As the Son of God, Jesus is both fully God and fully human.
- CHRIST CONNECTION: By healing the woman and raising the little girl from the dead, Jesus showed His power as the Messiah. Jesus died on the cross and rose again to save people from sin and death. When we trust in Jesus, God forgives our sins and changes us to be more like His Son.
