NC4 Bethlehem & NC4 Macungie
Prayer and Prophetic Team
Discover the transformative power of prophecy and prayer as we unite in our mission to restore, redeem, and free those in bondage through the gifts of the Spirit.
Our Mission
We want to be a people who “pray without ceasing” 1 Thess 5:17, seeking the Lord, listening to and obeying His voice and who “passionately seek the gifts of the Spirit, especially the gift of
prophecy” 1 Corinthians 14:1. By doing so we honor the Lord and the rich heritage of those who have gone before us
Our Vision
We are a large team of active, trained, well equipped, inter-generational prayers and prophetically gifted people who minister effectively to the body of Christ at NC4 and beyond.
There will also be “special op” teams who are very targeted prayers and intercessors who are called on in critical moments to intercede. We have prophetic teams who travel to serve in our network and in other communities. There is dynamic and effective training, mentoring
and equipping. Starting at a young age our children are taught to listen for and to God’s voice and who love to pray and eagerly desire to prophesy. As a result our body will thrive, signs and wonders are real and evident and God will be glorified.
What We Believe
We believe the gifts of the spirit are for today, that God is actively speaking to His people and desires to heal, restore, redeem and free those who are in bondage and we have the incredible privilege of participating in these Kingdom gifts and opportunities.
We believe that we should “passionately seek the gifts of the Spirit, especially the gift of prophecy” 1 Cor 14:1.
We believe that prophecy should encourage and uplift believers and is not used to shame, condemn or judge the saints.
We believe in submission to authority of the Lord and local church leadership and that things “should be done decently and in order” 1 Cor 14:40.
We believe that all prophecy is subject to the authority of the scripture.

Guidelines for Prayer & Prophecy
Be Well Groomed & Prepared
We will provide mints for you. Please no gum chewing. Have bookmarks nearby to share with anyone receiving a word.
Recording
If you have a prophetic word, ask them to take out their smart phone to record it before starting.
Ask First
Please ask someone beforehand if it is ok to lay hands on them or anoint them with oil during prayer.
Confidential
Please remember prayer time must be kept CONFIDENTIAL unless you have permission to
share with a core team member or pastoral staff. The only exception would be a report of harm to self or others.
New Members
If you have a prophetic word for someone during
your first 2 shadowing sessions, please write the word out and share it with the Core Team member who will review it with you prior to sharing it with the person.
Keep Primary Purpose in Mind
When someone shares what is going on DO NOT try to relate to them by identifying similar situations in your own life, this could distract you and move the conversation away from the primary purpose which is to pray for and intercede on their behalf.
Confessions
If a confession takes place during prayer that could potentially be harmful to them or that
they have harmed someone else, please contact Phil Osborne immediately at 484.515.5136.
