This would not include pre-scheduled weekly or monthly meetings. In order to schedule and properly publicize ministries and activities in the church, we are asking any ministry within New Covenant that would be involved in an event that seeks the church’s approval, to submit, in writing, an Event Scheduling Form, which would outline any event outside the normal operations of that ministry, i.e., trips, conferences, visits from other churches, etc. This would also make the elders and staff aware of events in order to avoid conflicts with the church calendar. The Event Scheduling Form should be completed at least 30 days prior to event taking place. Turning in this form does not mean approval of event. Once submitted, the request will go to New Covenant staff (or elders) for approval. If the event is taking place at New Covenant, Linda Brown (Building Scheduling Coordinator) must be contacted for room availability. Response on availability and approval of event should be generated within two weeks upon receiving request. Any group or individual outside of New Covenant that requests our building for an event, whether business or personal, would have to submit an Event Scheduling Form for approval of the event by staff or elders and also get building availability from the Building Scheduling Coordinator. If food is being served at the event by a caterer, they must be LICENSED and provide a liability form to the church prior to the event. If request is not submitted 30 days prior to event, approval shall be on a first-come, first-served basis by staff or elders.
